Cash: 1 Hour - $150 / Card: 1 Hour - $155

How should I prepare for treatment day?

Please arrive to each of your treatment sessions with clean, dry skin. No lotions or oils applied to your skin the morning of your treatment. Myofascial Release only works if my hands are anchored to your skin during each technique. If my hands slide, the fascia will not release due to the inability to maintain a stretch at the barrier.

What should I wear for my treatment?

Typically, I request men to wear loose fitting sports shorts and women to wear either a sports bra or loose tank top and sports shorts or a two piece bathing suit. This allows me to assess your entire body and where the fascial restrictions are pulling.

What should I expect during my treatment?

I will assess you in standing and lying on the table, using my visual and palpating skills. At this point, I am looking at symmetry between bony landmarks and soft tissue. When the fascia is restricted, most often it will pull on the bones of your skeletal system causing imbalance and asymmetries.

Once on the table, the sessions tend to get very quiet. This allows you to focus on what is happening in your body and under my hands; and it allows me to focus on each fascial release. As I follow the releases three dimensionally, there may be times when it becomes uncomfortable. If it ever gets to be too uncomfortable, I ask that you let me know immediately by using words such as “ease up”, or “stop the technique”. Never forcing the system is a key component of success. If you can’t relax into the technique, neither can the fascial system!!

How will I feel after treatment?

After the session, most feel relaxed and “floaty”. Some may experience improvements in their pain levels and mobility. However, there are some people that may experience increased discomfort, headaches, or a general malaise feeling. This is a normal reaction to fascial releasing and usually resolves within 24-48 hours. Increasing the amount of water intake after each session may help with these “not so good feelings”.

How long will the session be?

Each session is between 60-75 mins. This includes a pre- and post- body assessment, treatment, and self-care instruction. Always feel free to reach out prior to any session with questions you may have. I look forward to seeing you on my table and helping you find a more pain-free balanced YOU!!
